Things I Like

CARS
Unpopular to the public eye, making aftermarket modifications to my own personal vehicle has become a small hobby. I enjoy asking my more mechanically adept brother to help me do my own work on the car; this serves as a way for me to learn more about the workings of the vehicle as well as the building process (and it also saves me hundreds of dollars at the mechanic).

Nature
I've had the benefit of growing up in the beautiful state of Kentucky and enjoy capitalizing on the free parks and other nature attractions such as Red River Gorge and the Cumberlands to hike, camp, or just spend the day outside.

soccer and other sports
Although I am very well past my prime as a high school soccer player, I still like to take advantage of Northern Kentucky University's intramural fields to play pickup games of various sports. Even sports that I have no skills in, like field hockey or tennis. FC Cincinnati's rise to popularity gave students like myself an inexpensive way to catch live soccer matches and enjoy the atmosphere just across the river from where I live.

Music
As with everyone else in the world, I enjoy music. Because of my job as a delivery driver, I listen to it a lot. Music isn't only a part of my life during work in my car; I almost always have audio stimulation on through headphones while I'm walking out and about or I'll have music playing through my TV sound system and on the occasions I'm feeling nostalgic, I power on my old turntable and listen to a few records my dad got for me. My particular interests are slightly different because I have no favorite genre of music, and while I like a great deal of artists, I never pick favorites. Music is an ever-changing field and I believe it is important to expand your horizons and listen to the progressive music of all cultures. This mindset has led me to find many artists and songs that would not have normally made their way to me in Northern Kentucky. The advent of Spotify makes finding new music even easier, which is why I use it as my primary source for listening.
