How I Help
Volunteer Work

Theta Chi Fraternity
Being an active member of the Theta Chi Fraternity at Northern Kentucky University has led me to many community service opportunities and organizations, throughout the years these include:
- Many philanthropy events to raise money for USO (United Service Organization), our own chapter, and individuals in need.
- Habitat for humanity projects in the northern Kentucky/ Greater Cincinnati region.
- Saturdays of service hosted at Northern Kentucky University.
- MLK day of service
- H.O.P.E. Student Board (helping others, prevention, and education)

St. Barbara catholic church
Becoming involved in the church both as a youth and in my adult life has led me to value the time I commit to volunteering and has given me many opportunities to give back to the St. Barbara's community by volunteering at events such as:
- Rocktoberfest (St. Barbara's annual Oktoberfest festival)
- March for life in Washington D.C.
- Hosea House (greater Cincinnati soup kitchen for the homeless and unfortunate)
- Feeding the community at fish fries during lent
- Special events at Woodcrest Retirement Home (i.e. giving gifts to the elderly during Christmas, ice cream socials, or just spending time with the bed-bound)

Oak Ridge Baptist Church
As you can see, religious denomination should not - and does not interfere with the ability to serve the community and volunteer. Oak Ridge has offered me these volunteering opportunities:
- Mission trip to aid the struggling in New Orleans, Louisiana.
- Providing food for the struggling community of the Latonia Lakes area, as well as taking days to volunteer at the church common grounds to provide a safe place for the children of that area to come and play.
